By now we all know the many benefits of getting on that bicycle and going for a ride like:
- Getting in better shape and save money on health expenses
- Benefiting the environment by reducing emissions
- Saving Money on Gas
But I was a little surprised when I heard of these little known (to me at least) benefits:
- The more cyclist on the road, the safer cycling becomes
- A cyclist inhales less exhaust from cars than people riding in a car
- No parking worries – some cities require commercial buildings by law to provide bicycle spots/storage
Ok I am not sure what the law says in Albuquerque in terms of the last little know benefit I listed but I do know that the Rail Yards Market has plenty of bicycle spots and Free Bicycle Valet. C’,mon you can’t beat that! So bike on down this Sunday, May 18 (9am-3pm) and check out all of the exciting events, vendors, activities and entertainment planned including but not limited to
